The members of the victorious Contifleece PS (team 1 5A) team were Lauren Donnan, Peter Fegan, Johnny McClorey and Sarah McClorey, they were prepared expertly by their teacher Gloria Mulholland.
In Section B all teams battled with a neck to neck performance right to the bitter end the tension was high as the scores were even throughout, however the triumphant team winners were Killowen PS, winning by 2 clear points, they scored 54 points and 2nd place went to St Dallans PS (team 1 1B). Members of the successful Killowen team included Hugh Cunningham, Hannah Gilsenan, St. John Hall and Katie O’Farrell they were prepared expertly by their teacher, Mr D Maginn.
Both winning teams will proudly proceed to represent WBR Credit Union Limited, (Section A and B respectively), in the Chapter 4 Finals, to be held on Friday evening March 5th, at the Armagh City Hotel, and if they successfully negotiate that hurdle, they have a place in the National Finals at the RDS in Dublin (where big prizes await all winners!), on 18th April 2010, to look forward to.
